Alan Pinnington

Alan is the founder of Solution Aid First Aid Training, bringing over 32 years of experience delivering practical, high-quality first aid education. His approach is shaped by real-world emergency care, ensuring every course is relevant, hands-on, and builds confidence.

He is a qualified First Aid Trainer through the Rescue Emergency Care (REC), Intermediate Temporary Care (ITC), and Paddle UK, and is recognised by Nuco Training. Alongside teaching, Alan continues to work on the front line across the North West of England, providing emergency care in ambulances to the general public.

Dr Will Roberts

Dr Wil Roberts (MBCHB MRCGP) is a GP born and bred in the heart of Snowdonia. Having graduated in 2003, he worked in Aintree Hospital gaining experience in Acute Medicine and AED. In 2006 Wil travelled to Brisbane, Australia where he worked in the Princess Alexandra Hospital Emergency Department and spent time working as a GP in the Queensland outback.

He now works as a GP in Liverpool and is an accredited Educational Supervisor for trainee GPs. With his knowledge of acute medicine, Wil is a valuable part of the team. His affiliation enables Solution Aid to deliver the most relevant and up to date medical guidelines for our clients.
